Hydrangea Festival at “Mishima Skywalk” overlooking Mt. Fuji. 13,000 hydrangeas of 215 varieties will be at their best.

Mishima Skywalk (313 Sasahara-shinden, Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture) will hold its annual early summer event, “Hydrangea Festival,” from June 6 to July 5.

Fuji, the hydrangeas are at their best in the 7,000 m2 forest in the northern area, which stretches across the 400 m-long suspension bridge, where you can view more than 13,000 plants of 215 varieties in a variety of colors.

During the period, hydrangea motif sweets will be on sale, a hydrangea naming grand prix will be held from the public, a cute retro “hydrangea umbrella” will be rented, and a “Hydrangea Photo Submission Campaign” will be held to have your photo featured in next year’s calendar. The hydrangea will also be illuminated at night from June 19 to July 5.

Admission is from 1,100 yen for adults, 500 yen for junior and senior high school students, and 200 yen for elementary school students (varies depending on the season and day of the week).
