This is the second route operated by the two companies in alliance, following the Yumeguri-Hachioji route connecting Hachioji to Ikaho Onsen and Kusatsu Onsen.

The new “Gotemba-Numazu-Hachioji” route will allow passengers to reach the Gotemba Premium Outlets (1312 Fukazawa, Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture) and the Numazu Port area (Senbon Minatomachi, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), where fresh seafood can be enjoyed, from Tokyo without transfers.
