Outdoor 119, an e-commerce site operated by Camper Corporation, has begun handling the GSEN-45 cassette gas-powered portable hot shower as an authorized dealer. The price is 148,000 yen.
It features the ease of using hot water immediately with commercially available cassette gas (CB can) or portable gas cans (OD can), which are mainstream in camping, without the need for special fuel. The high output of the built-in battery (max. 6.0 kW) allows hot water to be supplied within 3 seconds of turning on the switch, and the current water temperature and the set temperature can be adjusted in 1°C increments from 30 to 48°C by operating the LCD panel, which displays the current water temperature and the set temperature in digital format.
The main body measures 400 x 170 x 310 mm and weighs about 6.4 kg, making it easy to carry in one hand like a bucket. It can be used simply by connecting the hose to the can. The company recommends it not only for outdoor activities and swimming, but also for washing grease stains at BBQs where warm water is needed, washing faces at camps, washing pets’ feet, and preparing for disasters.
