AEON MALL will open “LAKESIDE DINING” and “LAKESIDE PARK”, a new area in the AEON Lake Town commercial facility (Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture), on May 30.
Located on the banks of Sakura Lake, which stretches along the outlet side of Lake Town. Based on the concept of “a lively waterside center that creates the Koshigaya Standard,” restaurants, cafes, and hands-on activities will be available for visitors to relax by the lake.
Lake Dining consists of three cafes and restaurants in an open and airy space. Natural wood from Saitama Prefecture was used for part of the building’s exterior walls to express harmony with the rich natural surroundings of Sakura Lake. KNOWS COFFEE, the first Hawaiian café to open in Saitama Prefecture, offers 100% Hawaiian Kona coffee and pancakes made one by one at a pancake bar with a live atmosphere. APRON MARK, also in Saitama Prefecture for the first time, offers a Western-style menu of locally produced and locally consumed food.
Lakeside Park will host activities and events such as kayaking, SUP, and marche that take advantage of the waterfront environment, as well as an area lined with take-out food and beverage stores. A total of seven stores will be open, including “LAKE BREW by Koshigaya Mugishu,” which offers craft beer from Koshigaya, and “SOWAKA embrace olive,” which serves hamburgers and other dishes made with plenty of olive and Nasu black wagyu beef.
