Iwatani Corporation released the Iwatani Cassette Gas “Wide BBQ Grill,” a tabletop BBQ stove, on April 28.

The price at the official online shopping site “Iwatani iCollect” is 13,800 yen. In addition, the product will be sold at the directly managed store “Iwatani Outdoor Shop BASE,” outdoor specialty stores, and mass merchandisers of sports goods.

The wide grill size of 398 x 263 mm allows large pieces of seafood, vegetables, and grilled skewers to be placed comfortably on the grill, making it ideal for BBQs with a large number of people. Because it grills by radiant heat, there is less unevenness in grilling compared to direct heat, and the heat can be adjusted to suit the food, from meat dishes that are grilled all at once over high heat, to seafood and vegetables that need to be cooked slowly and burn easily.

Also included is a special carrying case for convenient storage and transportation.
