JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with UNDP President Doucault at JICA headquarters on April 20.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Tanaka welcomed President de Crow to Japan.
In response, President Doucet said that he would like to take this meeting as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation between the two institutions.
The two organizations exchanged views on human security, the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Partnership (HDP nexus), and the future of development cooperation, and discussed future collaboration.
