JR East launches new service “JRE GO” for advance use. “Reservations for Shinkansen in as little as one minute without hesitation.”

On April 20, JR East launched an advance trial (beta) version of “JRE GO,” a new Shinkansen reservation service.

JRE GO replaces “Ekinetto,” which used to take time to register as a member and complete reservations, and enables “reservations in as little as one minute without hesitation. The beta version of the service will be available from April 20 for those who sign up on the special site.

The beta version is available only for the Tohoku Shinkansen (Tokyo to Shin-Aomori), Akita Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tokyo to Joetsu Myoko), Joetsu Shinkansen, and Yamagata Shinkansen (excluding Tokyo to/from Ueno and Gala-Yuzawa).

After a trial period, the official service will begin in the fall of 2026.
