IKAROS Publishing’s “Amazing Business Hotel Pictorial Book. From standard chains to individualistic hotels, a guide to the latest attractions and how to choose the right one for each purpose.

Ikaros Publishing, an Impress Group company, has released a mook, “Amazing Business Hotel Pictorial Book,” B5 size, 112 pages, priced at 1980 yen.

With hotel critic Nobuaki Takizawa as a supervisor, the magazine introduces not only major chains such as APA Hotel, Toyoko Inn, and Lutoyoin, but also unique business hotels with individuality and hidden gems. The book looks at the charms of business hotels that go beyond functionality and cost-effectiveness.

The volume opens with a close-up on the filming of the TV program “Kenkova’s Drunken Busy Hotel Stay” and a close-up on the much-talked-about hotels that are evolving in many directions. Other topics include free amenities, facilities such as large public baths and saunas, and the interesting topic “Surprisingly unknown? Hotel Terminology” and the column “Behind-the-Scenes Hotel Breakfast, the Best Part of Staying at a Hotel” are also included.

This is a guide to new ways to enjoy and choose a busi-hotel, which is often used for business trips, vacations, and price-sensitive student job-hunting activities.
