Recently, we have confirmed that suspicious messages are being sent out on the messaging application “WhatsApp” in English, impersonating JICA and offering investment and loan projects from JICA. Please be aware that these messages have nothing to do with JICA.
JICA will never use WhatsApp to solicit investment or loan projects.
By replying to suspicious messages, you may be involved in crimes such as fraud or extortion.
