Rain goods manufacturer Ogawa released a PEANUTS-designed “compact folding umbrella for both sunny and rainy weather” (5,280 yen) and a “microfiber water-absorbing umbrella case” (2,970 yen).
The compact folding umbrella for both sunny and rainy days is made of fabric with a UV cut rate of 100% and a light blocking rate of 99.99% or higher. While guarding against strong sunlight, it can also be used on rainy days as it has a water-repellent finish. Part of the parent bone (50cm long) is made of light and flexible fiberglass material, making it wind-resistant and durable. The umbrella itself comes with a special storage bag.
The microfiber water absorbent umbrella case is an item that allows you to store a wet umbrella as it is and carry it around without getting the inside of your bag wet. It can be folded compactly and attached to the handle of a backpack or bag like a charm.
Each is available in two types: a “face” motif with cute flapping ears and a “doghouse” motif accented with a red roof.
