Shisan Udon Tokai Daigaku-mae Branch to Open on April 23. The taste of Kitakyushu has landed in Hiratsuka for the first time at a roadside store along Prefectural Route 61.

Shisan will open Shisan Udon Tokai Daigaku-mae branch (350-1 Minamikaname, Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture) at 10:00 a.m. on April 23.

This roadside store is located along Prefectural Route 61, where the Gusto Tokai Daigaku-mae store was originally located. This is the fifth store in Kanagawa Prefecture and the first in Hiratsuka City.

The restaurant offers a variety of udon menus, including its signature meat gobo-ten udon, Kitakyushu’s specialty kashiwa udon, and seasonal udon, with unlimited additions of yam kelp and tenkasu. In addition, the restaurant offers a total of more than 150 menu items, including katsu-togi-don (pork cutlet served on top of a bowl of rice), curry, and “botamochi,” which sells 6.8 million pieces of mochi annually.

Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 26:00 p.m., open year-round (with possible holidays a few times a year). Seating capacity is 92, and parking for 35 cars.
