Monorail Hamamatsucho Station, part of the new station building, opens for service on June 13. Current Central and South Exit ticket gates closed, access to Daimon Station improved.

Tokyo Monorail announced that a portion of the new station building will be put into service on June 13, 2010, as part of the reconstruction of Monorail Hamamatsucho Station, which is being undertaken as part of the Hamamatsucho Station West Exit Development Project.

The current 3rd floor Central Gate and 2nd floor South Gate will be closed, and the new 3rd floor North and Central Gates will be used.

The flow line toward Daimon Station will also be improved, with an elevator and stairs installed right next to the new central ticket gate, shortening the existing long passageway.
