Takenaka Corporation and Plan・Do・See announced plans to open the Yamanoue Hotel (1-1 Kanda Surugadai, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) as the “HILLTOP HOTEL TOKYO” in summer 2027.
After the entire “Yamanoue Hotel” closes in February 2024, Meiji University is acquiring the land and building as a commemorative project for the 150th anniversary of the hotel’s founding.
Takenaka Corporation signed a fixed-term building lease contract with Meiji University on March 2, and began renovation work on March 3. The hotel name will be the same as its former name, “Yamanoue Hotel. A trademark use agreement was concluded, and Plan・Do・See will be responsible for the management of the hotel. Tempura Yamanoue, which operated in the former hotel, is scheduled to reopen inside the hotel.
Reservations for lodging are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2026.
