The Shibuya-Omotesando Women’s Run Executive Committee will enforce traffic regulations for the “16th Shibuya-Omotesando Women’s Run” to be held on March 22.
On the day of the race, regulations will be enforced between the start and finish points at Yoyogi Park, Sangubashi and Kita-sando across Meiji Jingu Shrine, and the north side of Shibuya Station. Aoyama-dori, Inokashira-dori, Park-dori, and other streets will be closed to traffic from 8:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the maximum.
Toei buses will shorten the Waseda 81 route between Shibuya Station and the main gate of Waseda University to a departure from Sendagaya 2-chome and arrival in front of Meiji Koen, and the Ikebukuro 86 route between the east exit of Ikebukuro Station and Ikebukuro Sunshine City to a departure and arrival in front of Sendagaya Elementary School, without going near Shibuya Station. Keio Bus and Hachiko Bus will also have cancellations, shortened sections, and detours.
In addition, the Yoyogi Exit (off-ramp) on the Metropolitan Expressway No. 4 Shinjuku Route will be closed from 9:10 to 10:25 a.m. (entrance is open to traffic).
