Tokyu Stay Mercure Hiroshima to open on May 18, with a shared lounge by CCC and breakfast featuring bread and coffee from a popular local restaurant

Tokyu Resorts & Stay will open the lifestyle hotel “Tokyu Stay Mercure Hiroshima” (8-19 Teppo-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) on May 18.

In collaboration with Culture Convenience Club, the hotel will also open a “SHARE LOUNGE” within the hotel that can be used by not only guests but also local residents for interaction and work. It is an open three-story structure with an expansive atrium. The first floor is a casual communication zone with books, food, and drinks, the mezzanine floor is a relaxation area with a view of the city with streetcars passing by, and the second floor is a quiet place to concentrate. Guests can use some services free of charge.

The hotel is located a two-minute walk from Hatchobori Station, and all 182 rooms are designed to take advantage of Bingo’s manufacturing culture, such as by placing indigo blue Japanese denim accessory cases.

Breakfast is a bread buffet using local ingredients by Aloft, a popular bakery in Hiroshima. Ten to twelve kinds of sandwiches and side dishes are available each morning. The hotel will also offer original coffee blends by MOUNT COFFEE, a home-roasted coffee shop that attracted attention at the G7 Hiroshima Summit, as well as fresh salads, fruits, and mixed nuts.
