JR Tokai Retailing Plus will release “Station Sign Acrylic Key Chain” on March 9, 2012, available at the PLUSTA ONLINE STORE e-commerce site (including the store in “JR Tokai Market”), priced at 550 yen.
This key chain reproduces the station markings of the Tokaido Shinkansen, Sanyo Shinkansen, and Hakata Minami Lines, and is available for all 36 stations between Tokyo Station and Hakata Minami Station. Both sides have designs of station markers for both the down train and up train (except for Tokyo Station and Hakata Minami Station).
The display is a faithful reproduction of the one installed at the actual station, and the aspect ratio of the display unit, the layout of the letters, and the format of the next station display are also close to reality.
In addition to single items, a 17-station set for the Tokaido Shinkansen will be available for 9,350 yen, and a 19-station set for the Sanyo Shinkansen and Hakata South Line (excluding Shin-Osaka Station) for 10,450 yen. The first 20 customers to purchase each set (five customers for each set at PLUSTA ONLINE STORE and JR Tokai MARKET) will receive an original design clear file.
