The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Expressway will hold the “Roof Park Fes & Walk 2026” event on April 25-26, with the former Tokyo Expressway (KK line), which was discontinued in April 2025, as the venue. Tickets by time zone (for a fee) are required to participate, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting March 19.
Roof Park Fes & Walk is an event where visitors can experience the “pedestrian space of the future” after the redevelopment, This will be the second time the event has been held.
During the day, the 2-km KK line is divided into five zones with workshops, sports activities, live performances, playgrounds for children, street drawing and kitchen car marché.
In addition, there will be a morning-only marathon yoga program and a film screening on the evening of April 25.
