Mitsui Outlet Park Tama Minami-Osawa to Open in Spring 2028. The number of stores will be scaled up to 150, making it one of the largest in Tokyo.

On April 2, Mitsui Fudosan began construction on a rebuilding project (Block B) at Mitsui Outlet Park Tama Minami-Osawa (1-600 Minami-Osawa, Hachioji City, Tokyo). The park is scheduled to open in the spring of 2028.

The number of stores will be scaled up from the current approximately 110 to approximately 150, and the food and beverage outlets, including a food court, which have been particularly requested, will be strengthened. In addition, a large roof plaza that can be used for events to create interaction and liveliness in the Minami-Osawa area will be developed. The existing facility (A-area) will continue to operate while undergoing a large-scale renovation, so shoppers will be able to continue to enjoy shopping during the construction period. When completed, it will be the largest outlet mall in Tokyo.

In addition, the plan calls for the promotion of community development in the surrounding area in cooperation with Hachioji City and other entities, as well as environmentally friendly initiatives such as the reduction of CO2 emissions and the installation of solar power generation systems by utilizing the existing buildings in the A-area.
