MIMARU, a hotel for families and groups, will open in Shinsaibashi/Namba in the fall. Spacious bunk rooms and suites with terrace, etc.

Cosmos Inissia and Cosmos Hotel Management, part of the Daiwa House Group, will open two new apartment hotel “MIMARU” facilities in Osaka in the fall of 2026. Both facilities are accepting room reservations from March 2.

MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi CENTRAL (1-9-26 Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), which will open on September 1, is located a two-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. The 12-story building has a total of 66 rooms, half for 4-person capacity and half for 6-person capacity, and is especially designed to provide spacious rooms for 6-person capacity. In addition, the “Bank Bed Rooms” are designed for groups of adults traveling together, with two highly independent bunk beds and a layout that allows guests to enjoy conversation in the living room space.

MIMARU Osaka Namba STATION ANNEX (3-6-4 Nambashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), which will open on October 1, is located in the Namba area, which serves as a tourist base for the entire Kansai region, including Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. The 13-story building has a total of 68 rooms, half for 4-person capacity and half for 6-person capacity, which can be used for long-term stays. The “Sky Garden 3 Bedroom Suite” (100m2) with a private terrace on the top floor is recommended for anniversary trips and multi-generational trips.

MIMARU has five existing facilities in the Osaka area and is currently developing a total of four facilities, including the two new facilities to be opened this time. As the number of foreign visitors to Japan is expected to exceed 42 million in 2025, a record high, and the percentage of visitors coming to Japan with more than one family member or friend is increasing every year, spacious guest rooms (from approximately 40m2) with kitchens and dining rooms that allow guests to stay in the same room are being installed. In addition, to support comfortable travel for families visiting Japan, multilingual staff and family-oriented services will be provided.
