JR West launches new Okayama-Hiroshima Area Round Trip Pass on tabiwa. Unlimited rides on Momotaro Line and Ibara Line, free for 2 days from Hiroshima to Miyajima

JR West has released “Ihara-Okayama Round Trip Pass” and “Miyajima Enjoyment Pass” on its website and application “tabiwa by WESTER” as new tour passes to be set up and sold in FY2026. The sales period starts on March 1 and the usage period starts on April 1, and can be purchased from one month before to the day of use.

The “Ihara-Okayama Round Trip Pass” allows unlimited one-day travel between Okayama Station and Kurashiki Station on the Sanyo Main Line, between Kurashiki Station and Soja Station on the Hakubi Line, between Okayama Station and Soja Station on the Kibi Line (Momotaro Line), and between Soja Station and Kamobe Station on the Ihara Railway. The ticket allows travel between Okayama and Kurashiki/Soja on two different routes, and is priced at 2,500 yen (half-price for children).

The “Miyajima Pass” allows unlimited rides for two days on the Sanyo Main Line between Hiroshima Station and Miyajima-guchi Station, all lines of Hiroshima Electric Railway, and JR West Miyajima Ferry and Miyajima Matsudai Steamship between Miyajima-guchi and Miyajima. The pass also includes admission tickets to Itsukushima Shrine and the Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Museum (exchange required), making it a convenient way to explore Hiroshima City and Miyajima. The price is 1,500 yen (700 yen for children), but a Miyajima visitor tax (100 yen) must be paid separately when entering Miyajima.
