JR Tokai allows passengers to board and alight from trains on Taketoyo Line and Kansai Line at all stations and doors in principle. Change prior to one-man operation in the timetable revision.

JR Tokai will allow passengers to board and alight from all doors at all stations for regular trains (including rapid trains) on the Taketoyo Line and Kansai Main Line starting March 8.

In the above-mentioned line section, it has already been announced that regular trains will be operated in one-man operation with 315 Series 4-car trains starting from the March 14 timetable revision. This change will be made prior to this.

If you do not have an IC card or ticket, you can purchase a ticket before boarding at the ticket vending machines installed at each station (except Nagashima, Tondahama, and Kawamagari stations).

If you need to settle your fare when you get off the train, an operator will handle it at stations with an intercom. At stations that do not have intercoms, passengers are required to insert their boarding station certificate and the fare into the station’s fare box.

There will be no change in the method of use on the limited express “Nanki” and rapid “Mie” trains, which will continue to be staffed by conductors, and on trains that directly connect to Ise Railway.
