JR Keihin-Tohoku/Negishi Line cancels rapid service on three weekdays in May. No substitute transportation; Tabata – Tamachi operated on the Yamanote Line tracks.

JR East will suspend rapid service between Omiya and Ofuna Stations on the Keihin-Tohoku/Negishi Line due to maintenance work and construction during daytime hours. The period is from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 19, 20, and 21.

During the construction work, only the Keihin Tohoku Line between Tabata and Ueno, Tokyo and Tamachi will use the Yamanote Line tracks, with trains stopping at each station. The number of trains on both the Keihin-Tohoku and Yamanote lines will be the same as usual, and no substitute transportation will be provided.

The operating time (timetable) on the day of construction will be available on the JR East application and website around the end of April.
