BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai’s “Stadium Yoko Bar Street,” where you can enjoy a meal at all the restaurants!

Mitsui Fudosan and eight other companies will jointly open BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai (1-1-1 Minato-machi, Naka-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), a large-scale mixed-use district, on March 19.

A press opening was held prior to the opening, and this report introduces one of the largest small split food and beverage zones in Japan, “Stadium Yoko Barugai,” using mainly photographs.

BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai is an urban complex in front of JR Yokohama Kannai Station, which is part of the “Yokohama City Old City Hall Area Utilization Project” to preserve and utilize the old Yokohama City Hall. Under the concept of “fusion of old and new,” a hotel, a live viewing arena, commercial facilities, and offices will be located here.

The commercial area will feature 55 stores, including 9 stores opening for the first time (including the first stores in the Kanto and Kanagawa areas) and 17 stores in new business categories. The commercial area is characterized by its design with an eye to attracting an influx of visitors to the directly connected Yokohama Stadium, including the “Stadium Yoko Barugai,” one of the largest small-scale food and beverage zones in Japan, where 34 food and beverage establishments are gathered together.

The 33-story tower building also houses the shared office and coworking space “co-ba kannai/yokohama” and the hotel “OMO7 Yokohama by Hoshino Resort” to meet the needs of both business travelers and tourists visiting Yokohama.

Access is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Kannai Station on the JR Negishi Line and a 1-minute walk from Kannai Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line, right in front of the building as soon as you exit the station. Parking is available for 228 cars on the premises and 150 cars outside the premises (tentative).
