ANA Express Bus to end operation at the end of May. Replacement service prepared; free rides to continue between Waikiki and Ala Moana.

ANA announced that the Honolulu, Hawaii “ANA Express Bus” service will end on May 31 (local time).

The electric buses, based on BYD vehicles that run nonstop between Waikiki and Ala Moana, were introduced in the midst of increased conservation efforts throughout Hawaii. After a temporary suspension of the Corona Disaster, the service was resumed in July 2022. The vehicle is wrapped with the first Airbus A380 “FLYING HONU” (Lani).

Alternative service is currently being prepared for the extended route between Waikiki and Ala Moana Center and to the Kaka’ako Farmers Market on Saturday mornings after the service ends. ANA flight passengers and ANA Mileage Club members will continue to ride free of charge on the ANA Honolulu route.

Details will be announced on the official page as soon as they are finalized.
