ANA changes 787-10 order due to expansion of international business. Three of the 11 aircraft already on order will be 787-9s.

On March 25, ANA Holdings announced that it will change the type of Boeing 787-10 aircraft on order.

Citing the future expansion of international flight business under the ANA brand as the reason, the order has been changed from 11 787-10s to eight 787-10s and three 787-9s. Seven of the eight 787-10s have already been received.

The company expects that this model change will result in a lower investment in U.S. dollar terms than originally planned.
