Amazon (Amazon Japan) is having a sale on its emergency toilet, “Toilet Goddess PREMIUM (set of 100). Normally priced at 8,980 yen, it is 46% off at 4,886 yen at the time of writing.
This is a set of emergency toilets that can be attached to a standard Western-style toilet seat. The set includes 100 coagulants, 100 defecation bags, 20 disposal bags, and a disaster prevention book, and is made in Japan and can be stored for 15 years.
According to the manufacturer, the average adult urinates approximately 4-6 times per day, and (depending on the size of the disaster) a seven-day supply is a standard, so a family of two should have 50 sets, and a family of four or more should have 100 sets.
