In the first phase of LUCUA Character’s World, five stores, including “Pokemon Center Osaka”, “Nintendo Osaka”, and “ONE PIECE Strawberry Store”, which are still popular at the Daimaru Umeda store, will remain open for business. In the second phase, in the fall of 2026, 29 new character stores will open, including “Sanrio,” “Narumiya Happy Park,” “Square Enix Official Goods Shop,” and “Everything Minecraft. Thereafter, the zone will undergo a series of phased renovations, and by 2027, a total of more than 40 stores will be lined up, making it one of the largest character zones in Japan, bringing together popular content from both Japan and abroad.
LUCUA SOUTH DINING Phase 1 will see the continued opening of 28 restaurants, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, cafes, and sweets, currently operating at Daimaru Umeda and Ichiroku Gourmet. In 2027, new restaurants targeting families will open mainly on the 14th and 15th floors, making it a gourmet zone with a total of more than 35 restaurants for a wide range of occasions from daily use to special occasions.
