Bic Camera will open a new store, Bic Camera IT tower TOKYO (tentative name) (3-28-13 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) on March 14 at “IT tower TOKYO” built on the former Ikebukuro Marui site at the Ikebukuro West Exit.
The new store will be located on the 2nd to 4th floors of “IT tower TOKYO,” a new landmark in the Ikebukuro West Exit area, with a leased area of approximately 2755 m2, and directly connected to Ikebukuro Station via an underground passageway, allowing access regardless of weather conditions.
Under the concept of “a center for lifestyle and home electronics,” the store aims to create a store that transcends the boundaries of conventional home electronics mass retailers. The store will be staffed by highly specialized sales staff, and will focus not only on product sales, but also on lifestyle proposals tailored to individual life scenes.
The facility will also include offices and a commercial area, including the first store to open in the Ikebukuro area, so it is expected to attract a wide range of customers, from office workers to neighborhood residents to shoppers. Details of the products to be handled will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
