551 pork buns available in Tokyo! Naniwa Osaka Shokuidaore Gourmet Festival” at Keio Department Store Shinjuku Store from February 28th.

The Shinjuku branch of Keio Department Store (1-1-4 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) will hold the “Naniwa Osaka Shokuidaore Gourmet Festival” on the 7th floor. The event will be held from February 28 to March 5, from 10:00 to 20:00 each day (closing at 17:00 on the last day).

This year’s exhibition, the ninth since its inception in 2017, will feature the first appearance of the popular ramen store “Saihiro Ramen Kinsei Takatsuki Honten” from Takatsuki, Osaka, and the famous store “Negiyaki Yamamoto,” which is said to be the birthplace of Negiyaki, as eat-in restaurants. The event will also feature a wide variety of Osaka’s “good food,” from classic konamonos to sweets, from 37 shops, including eight restaurants making their first appearances.

Popular stores with long lines will also make appearances, including 551HORAI, which will demonstrate and sell its “Recommended B Set” (2,830 yen, includes 6 pork buns, 10 yaki-sai (fried dumplings), and 15 yaki gyoza (roasted dumplings). Numbered tickets will be distributed from 10:00 on each day.

Tamade Kimuraya, a long-established bakery established in 1906, also offers a wide variety of products, including “Chorizo Fromage” with spicy chorizo and cheese kneaded into it and “Venetiana,” a moist and fluffy brioche said to be the most popular at the store.
