USJ introduces the 5th anniversary “Super Nintendo World” limited-edition merchandise with new photos! The focus is on the “map” motif!

Universal Studios Japan will hold events to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the popular “Super Nintendo World” area starting today, March 18.

The theme is “We are all STARS!” The theme is “We are all STARS! (We are all STARS!).” The limited-edition goods unique to the anniversary will go on sale on the same day, inspired by the “Super Star,” an item that makes you “invincible” in Mario games.

The highlight is the “Face Towel” (2,000 yen), which is packed with all the fun of Super Nintendo World. The entire surface of the towel is covered with a detailed area map, making it an interesting piece to look at. The towel also comes with a Super Star badge, and is recommended as a souvenir of your visit.

Likewise, a “stainless steel tumbler” (2,000 yen) with the area map printed all around it is also available. The tumbler is equipped with heat and cold retention functions, and can be used to hold a drink cup purchased at the park. This is a great way to enjoy a cold drink during the coming hot season.

The lineup also includes a “collectible purse” (1,000 yen) with colorful designs of Mario Kart, Yoshi Adventure, Donkey Kong’s crazy trolley, and other popular attractions in the area. The “Hidden Pikmin” on the back are cute. There are six types in total, and you will have to wait until you open it to see which one you win.

In addition, a limited edition “Anniversary Power Up Band” (5,900 yen) with a colorful design based on the image of “Invincible Mario” with his Super Star is also on sale. The “Key Challenges” scattered throughout the area can be taken on as if you were invincible Mario.
