NEXCO Central Japan Kanazawa Branch will close the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway (E27) to daytime and nighttime traffic between the Wakasa-Mihama IC and Tsuruga JCT, and to nighttime traffic between the Obama IC and Wakasa-Mihama IC from midnight April 13 to 6 a.m. April 18. The nighttime closures will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each day.
The purpose is to inspect and clean road structures, repair pavement, and waterproof bridge decks. During this period, we will encourage travelers to turn onto Route 27 and other parallel roads, and will adjust transfer fees according to the section of road used.
The time required to turn around on a public road between Obama IC and Tsuruga IC will be about 20 minutes more than when using the expressway.
