Adventure resort “Lake Sagami MORI MORI” (1634 Wakayanagi, Midori-ku, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will hold the “Lake Sagami Cherry Blossom Festival” from March 20 to April 19.

Located about 50 minutes by car from the Tokyo metropolitan area, the park has about 2,500 cherry trees, one of the largest in the Kanto area, which begin blooming slightly later than in central Tokyo. Visitors can enjoy attractions unique to this season, such as “Magical Wave,” a slide down a row of cherry trees, and “Tengu Dojo,” an aerial athletic facility almost as tall as the cherry trees.

In addition, there will be a field of graceful Japanese umbrellas and a dome-shaped photo spot scattered with paper flowers that resemble large cherry blossoms. After nightfall, the “Night Cherry Blossom Illumination” will be held, where visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms illuminated by 5 million lights.

In addition, the tree illumination show on the 20-meter high ladder truck will be a spring version with a gorgeous cherry blossom snowstorm-like effect, and on March 20 and 21, visitors can enjoy a night bubble show by the bubble artist team “Bubble Works.

The restaurant “Wild Dining” will offer a limited-edition cherry blossom-themed menu, and the barbecue restaurant “Wild Cooking Garden” will open its private deck and prepare a special menu “Spring Blossom BBQ” (4,000 yen) from March 16 to April 19.
