JR Tokai and Ruiki have added the “Doctor Tokai Driver Timetable Design Notebook” as a crowdfunding return gift for the production of the “Type 923 Doctor Yellow T4 Wireless Earphones”.
As the name suggests, the notebook is a limited edition item inspired by the driver’s timetable (staf) used for the Kya 95 Series “Doctor Tokai” operation of inspection cars for conventional lines. It is based on the Chuo Line’s downbound inspection (Trial 9832D), the Iida Line’s upbound inspection (Trial 9781D), and the Tokaido Line’s round trip (Kai 9739D) (subject to change).
Support plans include the “Doctor Yellow Plan” (18,060 yen), which includes earphones and an acrylic key ring, and the “Doctor Yellow Complete Plan” (19,800 yen), which includes all five types of acrylic key rings, but the notebook is included in both plans. The plan also applies to those who have already supported the project.
The crowdfunding is being conducted on “JR Tokai MARKET” until May 31, with a target amount of 33 million yen. As of 6:00 p.m. on March 13, 1,195,680 yen, or 36% of the goal, had been donated.
