Keio Bus expands the number of vehicles compatible with Credit Card Touch to approximately 300. At Nakano, Eifukucho, and Sakuragaoka service stations.

Keio Bus, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, JCB, Reship, and QUADRAC will expand their credit card touch-payment boarding service to buses in the Nakano, Eifukucho, and Sakuragaoka bus depots of Keio Bus from March 27, 2012.

The system was first introduced in March 2025 in approximately 50 buses at the Chofu Office, and since it has improved convenience and facilitated smooth boarding and alighting, it will be introduced in approximately 250 buses at the three offices that operate in the central Tokyo and Tama areas. The total of approximately 300 cars will make it one of the largest deployment among bus operators in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

The service utilizes Sumitomo Mitsui Card’s “stera transit” solution for public transportation. By touching a credit/debit/prepaid card or a smartphone with the card installed on it to the dedicated terminal, passengers can board the bus directly.

Credit card brands accepted are Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and UnionPay. Touch payment history can be checked on QUADRAC’s website “Q-move” after registering as a member.
