Tokyo Disneyland will hold the sixth installment of Disney’s Palpalooza, “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World,” from April 9 to June 30. Prior to the event, food souvenirs were released on March 9. I immediately purchased all of them, so let me introduce them here in a photo shoot.
Souvenir lunch cases (+1,400 yen for qualifying menu items) and souvenir drink bottles (+1,300 yen for qualifying menu items) will be available at Plasma Ray’s Diner, Refreshment Corner, Tomorrowland Terrace, and other locations.
The lunch case features a large logo that looks like it was drawn in chocolate, with Vanellope and a donut from the movie “Sugar Rush” as the point of reference. The whole thing has a delicious wafer-like appearance.
The drink bottles are decorated with Disney characters all around the bottle. It is recommended to order with the limited event drink to make it even cuter.
Sweets with souvenirs include “Fruit Jelly & Yogurt Mousse” and “Baked Donuts” (550 yen each for individual items). Souvenir cups (+750 yen) for cup desserts and souvenir plates (+750 yen) for donuts can be purchased as a set.
The plate is particularly noteworthy. The plate is designed to look like a baked doughnut, and is full of playfulness.
The cup dessert is as refreshing as it looks. Jelly with pineapple, peach and mandarin oranges is softly filled with whipped cream. There are three types of candy-shaped chocolates on the top, which are served at random.
The baked doughnut has a mild texture. The spray chocolate and mint-colored chocolate covering is a great look.
Souvenir cups (eligible menu items + ¥1,000) are also available in ice cream cones. It can also be attached to the “Colorful Marble Ice Cream” (450 yen), a limited edition menu item with a crackling chocolate and soda flavor.
Although not a limited menu item, a carousel-shaped “Gummy Candy with Mini Snack Case” (1,400 yen) is also available at the same time. The delicate design of the cookie is cute, and the roof top pops open.
In addition, churros and regular box-type popcorn packages at some stores will also be designed for the event, so be sure to check them out as well.
