Skater has released new Sanrio character “Non-woven Lunch Bags” at its official online store and at mass merchandisers and general merchandise stores nationwide. There are five types in total, priced at 1,650 yen.
The design features boldly printed faces of Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Pom Pom Pudding, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll. The back of each character features the character’s logo in English and a “tail” to express their individuality.
Inside the bag is an aluminum vapor-deposited film that keeps the bag cool and warm, reducing the effects of outside air and keeping the lunch box fresh. Measuring approximately 265 x 120 x 275 mm (W x D x H), the bag is large enough to hold a lunch box and my bottle together. The wide gusset prevents even a wide lunch box from tilting and keeps it stable.
The zippered closure eliminates the risk of contents popping out, and the company recommends using it as a sub-bag to hold a smartphone or other small items.
