The National Hitachi Seaside Park (605-4 Onuma, Mawata, Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) has released the 2026 edition of its nemophila bloom forecast on its official website.
This year, about 5.3 million nemophila trees are growing at Miharashi no Oka, and are expected to be at their best (7th bloom) around April 11, two days earlier than usual, and at their best around April 16.
The peak of the best time to see the flowers is about 1 week to 10 days. Since many visitors are expected during the nemophila blooming period, the park asks for cooperation in dispersing visitors, avoiding Saturdays, Sundays, GW period, and around noon.
