Starbucks opens an art gallery cafe in Yanaka, Tokyo. 74 seats in a two-story wooden building, with artworks changed regularly.

Starbucks Coffee Japan will open “Starbucks Cafe & Art Gallery Yanaka Gotenzaka” (3-2-5 Nishinippori, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo) on March 28.

Based on the concept of “the intersection of art and coffee,” this café offers a variety of artworks by young local artists and art students throughout the year. The art exhibited in the two-story wooden building is changed periodically, with “Theme Exhibitions,” “Fair Exhibitions,” and “Public Exhibitions” being developed. If you find a work you like, you can purchase it.

At the Kakidoshi exhibition starting March 28, three young artists, Karin Hosono, Shotaro Sanada, and YU SORA, who depict scenery and atmosphere from their unique perspectives, will present new works on the theme of “Yanaka.

Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The restaurant has an area of approximately 299 m2 and seats 74 people.
