Unlimited travel on JR lines in Kagoshima for 2 days “Kagonma Bellas Free Ticket” goes on sale in March. Adults 3,500 yen, online reservation only.

JR Kyushu will release “Kagonma Verus Free Ticket,” a special discount ticket for a round trip within Kagoshima Prefecture, from March 1 to June 28. Fares are 3,500 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for children, and are available through JR Kyushu’s online train reservation service.

This ticket allows unlimited rides on ordinary and rapid trains and non-reserved ordinary car seats of limited express trains for two consecutive days. The period of validity is from March 12 to June 30, and the applicable lines and sections are Kawauchi to Kagoshima (conventional lines only) on the Kagoshima Main Line, Kirishima Jingu to Kagoshima on the Nippo Main Line, and Kagoshima Chuo to Makurazaki on the Ibusuki Makurazaki Line.

Before starting to use the service, tickets must be picked up at JR Kyushu’s Midori-no-Madoguchi or reserved-seat ticket vending machines. Also, if you wish to board a reserved seat on a limited express train, you must purchase a limited express ticket. Kyushu Shinkansen is not available (separate boarding and limited express tickets are required).

JR Kyushu and JR West will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Kyushu Shinkansen Line opening on March 12 and the 15th anniversary of the direct operation of the Sanyo-Kyushu Shinkansen Line with a tourism campaign in Kagoshima Prefecture, the terminus of the Sanyo-Kyushu Shinkansen Line, entitled “Impression! Again! Kagoshima is the terminus of the Sanyo and Kyushu Shinkansen lines. The campaign will run from March 12 to June 30.
