Miura Peninsula “Fufu Jogashima Umikaze no Shirabe” opens on February 27. First resort with a view of the sea; Japanese cuisine with seafood as the main course for dinner.

Kato Leisure Group will open “Fufu Jogashima Umikaze no Shirabe” (693 Jogashima, Misaki-cho, Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on February 27.

This is the 10th facility under the Fufu brand and the first resort with a view of the ocean. Located in the southernmost area of the Miura Peninsula, the 34 rooms (ranging in size from 58 to 140m2) in seven types are all equipped with natural hot spring baths overlooking the ocean.

The most particular is the evening breakfast at the Japanese restaurant SHIOYUI, which uses the bounty of the Miura Peninsula and seasonal ingredients from all over Japan. In the evening, the restaurant offers a seafood-centered course menu that includes kobachi (small bowls of cooked food), soups, fresh fish sashimi, and for the main course, charcoal-grilled dishes that allow diners to savor the ingredients of the fish and prawns themselves. The restaurant is designed in an open space overlooking the ocean while maintaining privacy, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere.

Rates start at 99,000 yen per room per night for two people with two meals.
