Midori Seika released new pastel colors of “Myakumyak Jelly Can”. Priced at 1,080 yen per can.
The product, which was popular at the Osaka-Kansai Expo and at the official store, consists of four colorful crafted jellies (semi-perishable confections) in a can with a Myakmyak design. In addition to existing can designs such as Myakmyak enjoying Osaka sightseeing and black Myakmyak, three new pastel-colored cans (pink, yellow, and purple rings around the face) have been added to the product lineup, bringing the total to 10 types.
Handmade by craftsmen, the traditional craft jelly is mainly made of agar-agar, syrup and sugar, and has a nostalgic taste of gentle sweetness. Usually, the jelly contains a printed Myakmyak jelly, but the jackpot includes a realistic 3D Myakmyak jelly. The “eyes” and other parts of the jelly are hand-applied to the die-cut jelly.
In addition to the official Midori Seika website, the product will be available at official stores such as Kintetsu Department Store, Daimaru Department Store, Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore, and souvenir stores in Osaka City.
