Start using “Kyunpass” for unlimited rides on Shinkansen for 10,000 yen. Check out the model course and eligible dates!

The Kyun ♥ Pass is a weekday-only product that allows unlimited rides on Shinkansen bullet trains, limited express trains, and ordinary and rapid trains within the JR East free area.

Validity: 1 day or 2 consecutive days from the start date specified at the time of purchase

Price:

[1 day] Adults 10,000 yen

[Adults: 18,000 yen (2 consecutive days)

No child price for any of the above.

Sales period: 1 month to 14 days prior to the first day of use

[1 day] January 12 – February 26, 2026

[January 12 – February 25, 2026 [two consecutive days].

Period of use: Weekdays from February 12 to March 12, 2026

*Not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (for 2-day use, not available from Friday to Saturday and from Sunday to Monday).

Applicable routes: All JR East, Aoimori Railway, Iwate Galaxy Railway, Sanriku Railway, Hokuetsu Kyuko, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway lines (between Naoetsu and Arai), unreserved seats on Shinkansen and limited express trains, ordinary and rapid trains, and BRT.

*If you have your seat reserved in advance, you can board a Shinkansen or limited express train up to two times for one day, and up to four times for two days.

The special website introduces model courses from Tokyo to Nagano, Niigata, Akita, and Yamagata areas. For example, if you stay at Hotel Metropolitan Nagano and use the 2-day Kyun♥ Pass to visit Zenkoji Temple, Nagano Prefectural Museum of Art, and Imadaiji Sake Brewery, you can save 9,480 yen by using the viewing tickets and round-trip tickets listed in “Traveling Kita-Shinano” together.
