SHK Line offers a special plan for solo travel around Japan by ferry. From 125,000 yen for boarding + car transportation + 1 night at a hotel.

Venus Travel, a member of the SHK Line Group, has launched its “Round Japan Trip,” a travel product that takes passengers around Japan by connecting ferry routes, for departures from April to June.

This product is a long-term cruise plan that combines four routes operated by three companies, Shin Nihonkai Ferry, Hankyu Ferry, and Tokyo Kyushu Ferry, to travel around Japan with your own car or motorcycle.

Departure dates are from April 1 to June 30 (except April 20 to May 6), and stays can be extended for up to 30 days at each port of call. The program is also characterized by the freedom to customize sightseeing in each destination according to the traveler’s schedule.

Plans are available to/from Hokkaido, Kanto, Kansai, and Kyushu, with fares starting at 125,000 yen per person. The price includes the entire ferry trip (Tourist A/Standard Western-style room), transportation for one passenger car, hotel accommodations, and a 4,000 yen multi-coupon that can be used on board or at the hotel.

Reservations can be made on Venus Travel’s official website up to 14 days prior to departure.
