The world’s smallest Myakmyak statue figure for your home Expo. Faithfully reproduced in 1/150 scale, even down to the kokenya and signboards.

About a month and a half has passed since the closing of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and on November 29, the Myakmyak statues at the East and West gates departed from the venue for Osaka City. Although the number of stores selling Expo merchandise is gradually decreasing and the event has become a thing of the past, there are those who would like to stay with Myakmyak and their memories of the Expo forever.

For those people, we recommend Believe’s EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo officially licensed product, “EXPO 2025 Myakmyaku 1/150 Scale Figure IRASSHAI/WAKU-WAKU”.

They are priced at 6,600 yen each and are available at the Believe TOY online store, the official Expo Store Abeno Harukas store, the official Expo online store, and the Joshin Super Kids Land main store (as of the end of October, subject to temporary stock-outs).

This time, the reporter, who is in the midst of an Expo loss, tried to create a “home Expo” with these two animals.

The two figures are 1/150th scale figures of the “Welcome” and “Exciting” Myakmyak monuments located at the East and West Gates of the Expo site, respectively, and also come with signage and 2.5D monuments (konenchitachi) located on the left and right sides of the monuments.

The size is approx. 22 x 22 x 28 mm for the irari, and approx. 17 x 17 x 27 mm for the wakuwaku (size of the myakumyaku including the pedestal, not including separate parts). The height is slightly larger than a 500 yen coin, and the scale is the same as that of so-called model trains and N gauge size. Although the nearest stations to the Expo site were only JR and Osaka Metro, with this figure you can have your favorite train company’s train right in front of your “home Expo site.

The company in charge of manufacturing the products is Hakoniwa Giken, famous for its diorama sheets and collection cases. The company uses a full-color 3D printer that supports 11 million colors, which is very rare in the world, and it takes more than 10 hours to produce one set!

The “Myakmyaku Mini Mini Mini Figure Set of 3” also sold by Believe, also by Hakoniwa Giken, is reasonably priced at 1,760 yen, and some people on social networking sites are saying that the Ararai Waku Waku figures are too expensive …… However, the mini-mini figure is about 1.2 cm tall, while the Irarai/Wakuwaku figure is about twice the size, and even excluding the difference in the number of parts and the number of bodies, the production cost is actually eight times as much.

Although Myakmyak figures come in a variety of sizes, poses, and colors, including capsule products, key chains, and bath bombs, Believe is probably the only figure that reproduces the Myakmyak statue at the East-West Gate (an acrylic stand of the statue is scheduled to be released by Heso Productions in late November (The acrylic stand for the Ararai statue is scheduled to be released by Heso Productions in late November.)

As for future sales plans, the company says, “As long as there is demand, we will continue production until the end of time to ensure that the product is in the hands of those who want it,” and the Believe TOY online store is always open for orders.

Consider it as a Christmas gift for that person who is feeling the Expo loss, or as a reward to yourself for having made it through 2025 with the Expo.
