The stadium nickname will be changed to “Rakuten Mobile Saikyoku Park Miyagi” starting January 1, 2026.

Rakuten Group announced that it will renew the naming rights for Miyagi Stadium (2-11-6 Miyagino, Miyagino-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture) and change the nickname to “Rakuten Mobile Saikyou Park Miyagi” (shortened to “Rakuten Mobile Saikyou Park” or “Rakuten Mobile”) starting January 2026.

The contract period is from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028. The current “Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi” will be gradually replaced with “Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi,” the current nickname for the signage at the front entrance of the stadium, as well as other postings, advertisements, and road signs inside and outside of the stadium.

Miyagi Stadium, which Rakuten has owned since 2014, is promoting a “ball park concept” that includes not only baseball games but also amusement parks, lodging, events, and activities. The name of the new stadium was chosen in order to increase awareness of the services provided by Rakuten Mobile, as well as to enliven the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, who call the stadium home, and the local community, and to deliver the “most powerful” excitement and experience.
