Keikyu begins operating the East Exit ticket gates and underground passageway at Kitashinagawa Station, starting with the first train on February 27.

Keihin Electric Express Railway will open the East Exit ticket gates (IC-only) and underground passageway at Kitashinagawa Station from the first train on February 27.

This is due to the progress of the continuous elevated crossing project near Shinagawa Station, and as a result, the bridge over the railway tracks will no longer be available. Elevators will continue to be available.

The project, which will run from FY2020 to the end of FY2029, will remove a total of three grade crossings between Shinagawa and Shimbamba Stations to facilitate traffic. The Kitashinagawa Station will be elevated and a new station building will be constructed.
