Keikyu Announces New Year’s Holiday Schedule. The “Direct Daishi Line” will be restored for the first time in six years, and the number of outlets will be increased.

Keihin Kyuko Railway, Keihin Kyuko Bus, and Kawasaki Tsurumi Rinko Bus have announced their operation plans for the year-end and New Year period (December 30 – January 4, 2026). While the railroad lines will be based on Saturday and holiday timetables, detailed changes will be made to bus routes, such as suspensions of certain routes and extra services.

The rail line will operate on a “Saturday and Holiday Schedule” from December 30 to January 4, 2026. The line will not operate all night on New Year’s Eve (December 31), but will run extra trains and move the last train earlier in conjunction with the “Yokosuka Countdown 2026” event held along the line.

In addition, on New Year’s Day (January 1), a special express train “Hatsuhin-go” will operate in the direction of the Miura Peninsula for New Year’s sunrise worshippers, and the first train will be moved up.

The Daishi Line, which is crowded with visitors to Kawasaki Daishi, will operate extra trains from January 1 to 6 and from January 10 to 12, 2026. Please note that the sale and use of special tickets and digital tickets will be partially restricted from December 30 to January 3, 2026.

Keikyu Bus and general route buses will operate on a “Sunday and Holiday Timetable” from December 29 to January 3, 2026. Due to fluctuations in commuter demand and traffic restrictions, the following routes will be suspended or changed.
