In response to a request from the Thai government for assistance for flood damage in Thailand, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows.

Heavy rains and flooding in southern Thailand in late November caused extensive human and material damage in the affected areas.
Damage as of November 28 (as announced by the Thai government and UN agencies)
Deaths: More than 100
3.54 million people affected by the disaster
740,500 houses damaged
