UNIQLO will release a UT collection in collaboration with “Tamagotchi,” celebrating its 30th anniversary, today, December 19.
Inspired by the pixel art of the first Tamagotchi in 1996, the design is based on the charm of the Tamagotchi, a simple yet expressive creature in the digital world.
The lineup includes four types of women’s T-shirts (relaxed fit) in sizes XS-3XL, priced at 1990 yen. Familiar characters such as Kuchipatchi and Yumemetchi will appear. In addition, “UT Original Tamagotchi,” made in UNIQLO’s brand colors of red and white, will go on sale at the same time. The price is 2,990 yen per piece.
