Kansai Airport announced that it will revise the domestic Passenger Service Facilities Charge (PSFC) at the Kansai International Airport Terminal 2 building on April 1, 2026. The fee for domestic departures is 420 yen and 370 yen for arrivals, but after the revision the fee will be a flat rate of 510 yen (the same for children, and free of charge for infants not using a ticket). This applies to passengers whose tickets are issued on or after the same date.
PSFC is paid at the same time as the airfare when purchasing a ticket, and is used to provide services such as departure and arrival lobbies, and to improve and maintain various facilities.
The revision is due to the completion of renovation work currently underway at Terminal 2 (domestic flights) in the spring of 2026, as well as recent increases in energy and labor costs.
The domestic departure and arrival fares at Terminal 1, whose renovation was completed in March 2025, are 560 yen for adults (440 yen before the April 2025 revision) and 280 yen for 3-11 year olds (220 yen before the revision).
